A.  Click on "Download Now"

B.  It will take you a few minutes to download the zip file onto your desktop

C. You will need to extract (unzip) all the files from the zip file you downloaded.

D. When the files have been extracted (unzipped) there will be a separate file for each track that can be dragged and dropped into iTunes or another audio player for transferring onto your mp3 player.

E. It is occasionally possible that tracks can download in the wrong order. Check that they have not before heading out. If not then adjust them in numerical order.

F. The map and histories are free and can be downloaded from heatofoot.eu by adding to the shopping cart and following instructions.

USING THE AUDIO GUIDE

The guide is divided into tracks, once loaded onto your MP3 player its very simple to operate.

Track one will tell you how it works.

Track two is the starting destination and the sights that are around. The location will be central and easy to find. The following tracks begin and end with directions for the next stage of the tour and the sights that will greet you as wander. Tracks can be paused and replayed at any time. 

The walk is not in real time, as we feel a walk should take as long as you have.

Of course we encourage curiosity, and a sense of discovery.

MAP AND TRACK LIST

It is advisable to print off both the map and the track list to aid you on the walk.

Head to Foot has created a map for each walk, with pictures of locations on the walk, use this to help orientate your self if you wander off the route. The walk is also marked on the map.

The Track listing cover the streets that each track will take from and to.

We can see no reason as to why the tour should not be listened to pre visit to assist with the creation of your own itinerary. To assist with this visit the pages History, which has a brief history of your destination and which has details of some of our researchers experiences of the cities visited.
