Head to Foot is a new company, created in mid 2008. Aiming to provide well researched and uninfluenced audio tours around cities that we like. Walks  include historical, architectural and cultural information. These will be solid locations that have been in place for a while and will remain so for years to come 

The only way any business will end up on a walk is if they have been nice to us during our research, at no point we let on as to what we are doing. Head to Foot is totally independent and proud of it.  No one can pay to be included.

Once a walk is completed users  will have enjoyed a small glimpse of what makes the city tick

If anyone discovers a cafe, bar, hotel, museum, shop just about anything you feel other users should know about, then share it.

We want to become the first place to visit before visiting. The tours are researched and created by Sean Eatherden. Sean has spent almost of the last twenty years designing, creating and presenting team challenges and games for the corporate market across the globe. Many of these took place in the cities of mainland Europe. Sean would always describe his challenges as unintimidating games for grown ups, where participants would never end up with muddy feet 

Once each tour is created, it will be walked on numerous occasions, with either someone from the city, or a member of the team that make the walks happen. Arriving from Seans head to the point you are now at, preparing to download 

The Head to Foot site has been created by the inspiring and patient Michael Webster in his beautiful Cumbrian HQ. Michael came to Maastricht to experience the walk, it was here he went through, his words, a Damascus moment when introduced to the Kruisherenhotel Hotel. He now plans to retire there 

The walks are recorded at Apex Studios in funky Ladbrooke Grove. Johnson Mak, leaves us with the safe ears and sound engineering and editing skills of Chris and Mo. Who can create a stunning cup of tea. This team have also created the music for the gallery on this site. One day they will come out of the studio and into daylight and enjoy a city adventure with Head to Foot.  

The voice or Mr Voice as our delightful host, Inge, in Bruges calls him is Peter Lindford. Star of stage and screen, both large and small. Also host and presenter to more conference and training events in the corporate world than he can remember.

His honey dripping warm voice is the reason that you wont find Head to Foot tours filled with sound effects, his voice will bring the city to life in your head. Peter spends much time rehearsing each voiceover to add a very personal touch to the finished product 

The maps are created for Head to Foot by Ben Lowe, possibly Britains most commissioned artist, a man whose pencil is always sharp 

All recordings are compressed and prepared with the final tweaks by the Keith Jolly Experience at Axetec
